I was delighted to make it along to last Sunday’s Leeds Author Event in the UK and meet a host of fabulous erotic authors all in one place. Not only that, it was hosted on Erotic World Book Day, what a perfect winning combination.
I found it such an engaging opportunity to mingle with so many like-minded people who shared a similar passion to me; a wonderfully naughty outlook and genuine understanding and enjoyment for words that seriously left you hot under the collar. Finding pleasure in immersing yourself in some horny arousing writing is a passion many do share, whether you are a writer yourself or just a lover of deliciously smutty words, the world and desire for erotic writing has never been stronger. Some thanks of course should be shown to our beloved Kindle, allowing many of us to bury ourselves amid some titillating reading while out and about, which for some has opened our eyes to the enjoyment of naughty stories and certainly fuelled our interest and desire for more. There has also been the growth in self publishing opportunities that many wonderful writers have utilized which has helped start and found their writing careers. Lets face it, books featuring romantic erotica are rarely out of the best selling book lists.
So while mingling amongst the crowd as I did, I was able to chat with a few published writers who have already written some fabulously sexy stories for FrolicMe. I was delighted to meet up with Charming Man who wrote the naughty story PEEPING TOM, the lovely Rebecca Sherwin who wrote PLAYTHING and the fabulous Sarah Michelle Lynch who wrote HOT PINK, all there in person revealing their latest published works. I also enjoyed meeting and chatting with many other new and known published erotic writers who I am very much looking forward to working with, introducing you to their erotic tales here on the site and bringing greater depth and erotic tension to the many films I produce.
